Study at Ian Hobson International Piano Festival
IHIPF is designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive learning experience to dedicated young pianists who aspire to reach new heights in their musical journey. Only a limited number of applicants will be selected to participate in the festival on a full scholarship, which includes free shared-room accommodation. During the festival week, participants will receive four individual lessons, each lasting 30 minutes, and have the freedom to audit their peer pianists' lessons.

Faculty Concert
Over the first two evenings of the festival, we are proud to present faculty recitals in the Sala Steinway at the Gallery Inn. Our distinguished faculty will present a diverse selection of musical programs, offering students and a select number of guests the chance to experience outstanding performances in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

Performance Opportunities
IHIPF provides a platform for participants to showcase their talent in student gala concerts, with options to choose to play either a solo piece, or a concerto movement with piano accompaniment by Professor Hobson.
